In the same way that we source all our ingredients for our tasting menu locally, we use our wine list as an opportunity to showcase some of the best English wines that are produced, with many of them being made in Sussex.
Exclusively English wines
The only restaurant in Brighton to offer an exclusively English wine menu, we’re proud to support some brilliant wines, whilst helping our customers explore some of the secrets of Sussex.
When we relaunched in September 2016, our new sommelier Alex Preston added a Sussex Pairing to our offering. “We have always pushed to be as local as possible on the food and believe in holding the same attitude for our wines. England is very much an up and coming wine region with unique blends that has been building up since the 50’s. It was, for this reason, we realised it is important that we give the guest an opportunity to try what Sussex has to offer with a pairing, rather than just the typical by the bottle with a few by the glass offerings.”
Fancy an aperitif?
Local producers, Ridgeview, say “In restaurants across the UK consumers will now expect to see an English sparkling wine on any credible wine list and Isaac At are way ahead of the game with an exclusive English wine list.”
