Sourcing the freshest ingredients as locally as possible, you’ll experience a true taste of the South Coast in every dish. To complete your fine dining Sussex tasting experience, we carefully select an ever-evolving Sussex pairing flight for our exclusively English wine list, to complement our dishes and give you a unique experience of the South Coast.

Working so closely, we’re lucky enough to be a team of good friends, so we try to eat out at different restaurants as often as we can. We take a lot of inspiration from our favourite chefs to grow and hone the Isaac At experience.

OUR SUPPLIERS

Every dish we serve relies on the quality of the ingredients used, luckily for us Sussex is bursting with fantastic independent suppliers, passionate about their produce and striving to make the most of the local terrain. From award-winning sparkling wine producers to wild garlic foraged in the Sussex countryside, we’re constantly surprised and delighted by the bounty our local area provides.

Isaac Bartlett-Copeland 

When Isaac’s in the kitchen, he’s in the zone, so if you manage to get a word out of him, you’re lucky…  

He’s very ambitious and focused on continuously developing the rest of the team, who would describe him as taking a “shoot first, ask questions later” approach.

 

He’s chief ‘checker’ when it comes to all elements of the restaurant, as his main priority is that every customer’s experience is the best it can be and they learn something new about what the South Coast has to offer from each dish they are served. He makes a mean fish finger sandwich.

Head Chef

Caspian Armani

Cap joined the team in June 2018 as a Kitchen Porter and hasn’t looked back since.


His energy, passion and enthusiasm is a big part of what makes the restaurant tick, over the past couple of years he has lead the team to a whole new level and has driven the menu to be bolder than ever.

Restaurant Sommelier

Alex Preston

Alex joined the team in July 2016 and he has hardly touched a drop of wine that isn’t English since. Finding Alex in anything other than some form of a suit is a rarity. Alex was also named as one of Harpers Wine Magazines' top 25 sommeliers in the UK!

 

He loves educating people on the history of English wine and often lays the tables, answering the e-mails or keeping the books in check listening to playlists that are often too bad to share with the general public.

Restaraunt Manager

Connor Harris

Connor has gone from strength to strength, joining the team around the same time as Caspian, he is commonly behind the scenes setting up the restaurant but also as Head Waiter, you will find him serving you in service. He is also responsible for planting and growing many different micro herbs in the restaurants very own garden, the colourful EvoGrow.
